Position: Business Development & Customer Service
With over 25 years’ industry experience, Brian is a crucial member of the Oxford Leathercraft team and has excelled in each of his roles since he started as a production worker in 1997.
Brian joined the company immediately after finishing his studies, displaying a hard work ethic and the ability to quickly fix problems when they arose.
In 2006, after the acquisition of Charles Smith Leathergoods, Brian slowly started to move into a more customer-facing/sales role and proved to be effective at telemarketing.
In 2014 Oxford Leathercraft purchased a well-known belt manufacturer Ibex of England. With the business growing and having taken on more staff, Brian stepped up in his sales responsibilities including visiting existing customers to secure orders.
Due to his success securing new customers and his desire to ensure that each customer is happy, from 2018 he began to concentrate solely on business development and customer service.
Brian enjoys being part of a growing business and is particularly enthusiastic about new customers coming on board.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 sons, exercising in the surrounding countryside and socialising with family and friends!
